Tints n Tweaks Terms & Conditions:

By using the Tints n Tweaks website, you agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read the following carefully before you decide to order goods from Tints n Tweaks.


Any Changes in Delivery Times or Dates will be notified to the customers as soon as possible by Tints n Tweaks.


All parts purchased will comply with the SALE & SUPPLY of GOODS ACT 1994 and be of " SATISFACTORY QUALITY" at the time of sale Only those parts listed on the INVOICE will carry a minimum 30 Day Guarantee.


We suggest in all purchases the customer use a valid credit card, cheque or paypal.


All goods MUST be inspected upon delivery, DO NOT sign for goods that have been damaged. Contact Tints n Tweaks within 24 hrs. Ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before you sign for them. As refunds are not always possible for goods damaged in transit. The words "UNEXAMINED" or "UNCHECKED" on the delivery note are not acceptable. Tints n Tweaks will not be held responsible for the goods damaged in transit, if they have been signed for in good condition.


In the event that a part(s) prove to be defective or faulty upon fitting, please contact Tints n Tweaks within 48hrs. We will arrange collection, if a replacement is not availble you will be offered a FULL REFUND. Refunds can only be completed, once the good have been returned to Tints n Tweaks.


In the event that a part is ordered, but the part is then no longer required, Tints n Tweaks may at their discretion charge an administration/handling charge. This charge will amount to a maximum 25% of the original total order cost or the carrier/carriage costs to and from the customer (whichever is the greater). These charges are to cover postage/packaging and order processing costs.


All parts are supplied on a PARTS ONLY BASIS. Tints n Tweaks are unable to accept responsibility for labour charges incurred in the fitting or removal of parts purchased from Tints n Tweaks. Nor do we accept any responsibility for vehicle hire charges or any other consequential loss.


How do I pay for the Parts? We accept all major credit/debit card as payment, we advise you to use a credit card or paypal when purchasing parts either via the phone or from our website as the credit card company will guarantee your purchases, Buying items worth more than £100 on a credit card gives a consumer extra protection since a card-owner is covered by credit card insurance under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. The Act introduced 'equal liability', meaning that a credit card company has the same responsibilities and obligations to a customer as a seller.


How quickly are parts delivered? Usually within 48hrs, depending on the time you made your request and the day of the week. , If a request is made at 4.pm, it is unlikely that the parts can be despatched the same day, if the request was made on a Friday, most couriers will be unable to deliver before Monday, unless a special arrangement have been made. If you require your parts urgently, you may need to make special arrangements.


What happens if a part supplied is faulty? If any parts supplied by Tints n Tweaks, is found to be faulty, it is advisable you immediately contact us and explain the situation, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your part(s), you will either be sent a replacement part(s) or offered a full refund, you may be asked to return the faulty part(s) first, before a replacement can be sent or before you are given a full refund.


If I place an order can i cancel? In the event that a part is ordered , but the part is then no longer required, Tints n Tweaks may at their discretion charge an administration/handling charge. Can I telephone my request? Yes. If you would prefer to speak to us directly, they are available between 9:30 am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:30am to 3pm on Saturday, Or you can simply fill out the contact form yourself and have your request emailed to us immediately. What legislation governs the sale of goods ? In the UK, all goods sold must comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and must be of “satisfactory quality” Tints n Tweaks abides by this legislation.
