    "I have visited this garage a number of times now and initially both myself and my son had exhausts fitted; reasonable prices and professionally done coupled with a friendly attitude means I won't hesitate to return. Recently this garage acquired a hydrogen carbon cleaning machine which I was told could improve both performance and fuel economy. I was sceptical about this but for £75 I thought I would give it a go. After the treatment I noticed a definite improvement in the cars pull but nothing much else until I did a few longer trips, then I noticed a definite improvement in fuel economy. The car I have is a 2002 Skoda Octavia 1.9tdi. the highest mileage I have achieved was a trip from Montrose to the Forth Road Bridge when I recorded a staggering 97 miles to the gallon. This was accomplished by driving at no more than 50 mph and included freewheeling whenever safe and possible. Roads were quiet. The highest mpg I had managed before the hydro carbon treatment over a similar distance was 86.6 mpg. Make of that what you will but for my part I believe this treatment is beneficial so I will probably get it done once a year with its annual service. Thanks again to all at tints n tweaks"

    "Cannot recommend Jamie highly enough. Booked our Mazda estate car in for a stainless exhaust, having seen samples of his excellent work. But upon removal of the rear back boxes, it was apparent that there was a serious corrosion problem with the floorplan. Instead of pressing on with the exhaust, Jamie showed me the issue and suggested the exhaust job maybe shouldn't go ahead as the car would probably fail its next MOT and may even be unrepairable. This was sound advice - I cancelled the job but of course Jamie lost out a day's work. This demonstrates to me a company of real integrity and one that actually cares about its customers (he could have kept quiet and just fabricated the exhaust anyway.) When it comes to all future such jobs, I will endeavour to send as much business my way to Tints n Tweaks - and if you want a 100% honest and professional service, I suggest you do too!"
